Exactly what we track, and how to turn it off.
This page lists every cookie category avantscale.co uses, what each one does, how long it lasts, and how you can control it. We keep our cookie footprint small on purpose — no advertising or retargeting pixels, and no analytics tools or chat widget load until you accept.
Plain-language summary
- We use cookies to keep the site working and to understand traffic in aggregate — not to build advertising profiles on individual visitors.
- Analytics cookies and the Tidio chat widget are optional. You can decline them without breaking the site.
- We don’t currently run advertising or retargeting cookies on this site.
- You can clear or block cookies anytime in your browser settings — instructions in Section 4.

Section 1
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser when you visit. They let a site remember things between page loads and visits — like keeping a form’s security token valid, or recognizing that you’ve already dismissed a cookie banner. Some cookies are set directly by avantscale.co (“first-party”), and some are set by tools we use, like Google Analytics (“third-party”).

Cookie categories on this site
We group cookies into two categories. Only one of them is optional.
We do not use client data or visitor data to train AI models, and we do not sell, rent, or trade personal data to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Strictly necessary
Always active
Required for the site and its forms to function — session handling, security tokens, and remembering your cookie consent choice. These can’t be switched off because the site wouldn’t work correctly without them, but they don’t track you across other websites.
Analytics
Optional – your choice
Google Analytics 4, used to understand aggregate traffic patterns — which pages get visited, roughly where from, and how people move through the site. We use this to improve the site, not to build individual visitor profiles. Microsoft Clarity records how visitors use our pages as session recordings and heatmaps (clicks, scrolling and mouse movement) so we can find and fix confusing layouts; it masks text typed into form fields. You can decline both and the site still works exactly the same.

This list covers every cookie avantscale.co uses or may set. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity load only after you choose Accept in the cookie banner or turn on statistics cookies. The Tidio chat widget loads only after you accept optional cookies. If you choose Deny, none of them load. If we add any other tool that sets cookies, we’ll update this table first.

How to control cookies
You have a few ways to manage cookies on this site:
- Our cookie banner— on your first visit, you can accept or decline optional (analytics) cookies. Strictly necessary cookies apply either way. You can change your choice at any time with the cookie preference controls below, or with the “Manage consent” tab on desktop.
- Your browser settings— every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, either site-by-site or globally. Check your browser’s help menu for “cookies” or “site settings.”
- Google’s opt-out tools— for Google Analytics specifically, Google provides a browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- Microsoft Clarity — declining analytics cookies in our banner stops Clarity from loading. Microsoft explains its own controls in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

You can update your analytics cookie preference for this site at any time — this doesn’t affect strictly necessary cookies, which are required for the site to function.

Other tracking technologies
Beyond cookies, we don’t currently use browser fingerprinting, tracking pixels, or third-party advertising networks on avantscale.co. The one tool that goes beyond counting page views is Microsoft Clarity, which records clicks, scrolling and mouse movement as session recordings and heatmaps, and only after you accept analytics cookies. The Tidio chat widget, which also loads only after you accept optional cookies, stores the messages you type and any details you choose to share. If that changes as the site grows, this page and our Privacy Policy will be updated to disclose it before it’s implemented.

Changes to this policy
We’ll update the “Effective” date at the top of this page and the cookie table in Section 3 whenever the tools we use change. Continuing to use avantscale.co after an update means you accept the current version of this policy.
October 4, 2026: Tidio chat widget disclosed (it loads only after you accept optional cookies). October 4, 2026: Microsoft Clarity added for session recordings and heatmaps; it loads only after you accept statistics cookies and its cookies are listed above. September 28, 2026: Google Analytics 4 is now active and loads only after you accept statistics cookies; the _gid entry was removed from the cookie list. First published September 15, 2026.
